centre.

We have four different bulk bin options and four different skip bin options, which increase in price based on their size. In terms of location, we have four price zones which increase in price depending on their proximity to our centre.

Skip Hire Pricing

The price of a skip hire ranges and depends on the suburb distance from our waste and recycling station. The table below shows Zone A pricing – which is within 15km from our Cheltenham location. Frequently Asked Questions

How much are skip bins to hire?

Skip bin hire cost as little as $350 to hire a mini 2 cubic metre skip. Depending on the size you need, our prices range up to $1,140 for bulk 12 cubic metre skip bins.

Are there any additional costs?

The following extra charges are applicable:

  • A $100 attendance fee occurs if there is no onsite access
  • A $20 administration fee occurs if you have paid for the skip but cancel prior to delivery
  • Fees vary for overloaded bins. If your bin is overloaded, you will have to pay extra at $120 per cubic metre or part thereof.
  • Any hire period after our standard 3 days is an additional $30 per day
  • A $120 contamination fee occurs if there are non-complying products in the bin. Further charges apply if contamination causes damage to the bins.
  • Any skip bins holding mattresses and tyres will incur extra fees
  • Council permit fees apply if the bin needs to be placed on the nature strip or road

How long can I hire a skip bin for?

Our standard hire period is three days. However, if you’re ready for the bin to be picked up before then, that can be arranged. Alternatively, If you need to extend the hire period, a daily fee of $30 incurs.

How do I pay for my skip bin?

We accept Visa, MasterCard or cash at the time of booking. However, we only accept cash payments upon delivery.

Do I need to apply for a permit?

If your skip bin does not fit within your property, you will need a council skip bin permit so that it can legally be placed on the nature strip. As permit costs vary from council to council, we recommend using our quote calculator for accuracy.

If you book a skip bin with us, we will apply for a permit for you at no additional costs.
